Members of the Younger Lawyers Division represent almost one-forth of the FBA's Membership in the Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association provides a unique opportunity to mix with young attorneys from around the country who practice in the federal courts. It also presents the opportunity to meet and work with the federal judiciary to discuss issues, ideas, and solutions to problems facing the legal profession. If you plan on working for the Government or practicing in federal court or in an area of federal substantive law (including antitrust, bankruptcy, civil rights, government contracts, Immigration, intellectual property, social security litigation and securities), the YLD will benefit you. Members of the YLD also have the participate in a variety of social and educational events that will assist in learning about, and keeping in touch with, the federal bench, federal law and employment opportunities.
